End of Tenancy & Deposit Return

You will have given us notice to end your tenancy agreement if you are receiving this. We are sorry to see you go and hope you have enjoyed your tenancy.

The checkout at the end of a tenancy is one of the most important parts of the moving-out process.

When leaving your rental home behind, we know you will be eager to receive your full deposit back. You have the highest chance of receiving your deposit refunded in full by following the steps listed in this form and associated Checkout Document.

Please ensure your standing order is then stopped, any further payments we receive will incur a £50 refund charge

Please also complete the Deposit Return Section at the end of this form advising who the current utility providers are (Gas, Electricity, Water, Etc.) any maintenance issues you are aware of your forwarding address and bank details.

1. Cancel your rent standing order and make your next rent in a one-off payment for the amount shown above. Please note any payments incorrectly made after you have moved out are charged at £50.00 to refund.

2. You MUST leave the key at our offices on your final day. If this is within business hours, hand this to us in the office. If the office is closed, post this via the letterbox to the left of the front door of the office in an envelope with your name on. Easthams & Co 206 Blackbull Lane PR29XY. If you leave the key at the property or post it through the door of the property you are leaving, you will be charged for a full lock change.

6. On your last day, take meter readings for GAS, ELECTRIC & WATER and shut down your accounts, and provide them with your forwarding address so they can send you any outstanding bills.
7. Contact the council and advise them you have moved out so they can finalise your bill.
8. Redirect your mail through Royal Mail. New tenants will not forward on any mail.
9. Remove all your belongings out of the property. Anything you do not want to take with you needs to be disposed of and removed from the property before you leave.
